Grid Neutral specialises in solar PV and battery storage systems, built to perform and built to last. We design and install tailored solutions for homes and businesses, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and long-term value.
Founded by Alec Wood, an experienced renewable energy engineer with over a decade in the industry, Grid Neutral combines technical expertise with a personal approach. Alec also holds an Energy Engineering for Sustainability degree from Sheffield Hallam University. He runs the business with his wife Claire, who manages the behind-the-scenes operations and admin. Together, they’ve built a trusted team of professionals who share a strong commitment to quality, service, and sustainability.
We’re one of around 20 GivEnergy Platinum installers in the UK (their highest level of accreditation), an Octopus Energy trusted installer, and proud members of The Solar Nation Assured Installer Network – a group of trusted, experienced solar professionals committed to doing things properly.
